During the pandemic have had several phone conversations with at least 3 different employees regarding questions I had. Each employee was patient, understood, and provided answers. In one case they were able to correct an error in the system that had been a problem for us. Be prepared to wait but the waits to speak with someone were tolerable and today, I was lucky and didnt even have to wait on hold for any length of time. Grateful to dedicated public servants.

With the same number of employees they've always had, it now takes 3-4 months to replace an old Social Security card? I sincerely doubt that many of these federal employees are actually "working" from home.

I received a robo call about a possible "attack" against my card. Is this a scam call? I didn't reply to them.
I suggest you walk in, and not do anything online. To many cases, and not enough worker's. This is not an excuse for their behavior, but when you see, so many in a day it becomes over whelming. I enjoy dealing with Ms. Allen. Very pleasant, great personality, not mean and doesn't act as if someone is taking from them who doesn't deserve it. I had one worker from hell, and she threaten me, so I called her on it..and said to her. Go for it. I don't have to this is my family's money. Not yours! Also, my family money pays for more then just me. Got that. Our Interview was over then.
