We and our son's birthday party at Ultra Lanes in Massapequa and it was outstanding! The kids truly had the best time and our party hosts were helpful and timely. They helped to make the whole experience run smoothly and we would do a party there anytime again!

Very disappointed with the customer service and extra fees for my daughters birthday party. Brenda who helps arrange the parties is unprofessional ,rude and not very friendly. We picked a $500 birthday package and booked the party over the phone with Gabby weeks in advance. 2 days before the party we get an email and a bill. The bill had an 18 percent event fee service charge. ( Not Gratuity) . It came to an extra $90. This fee is not mentioned on any of the price menus , flyers or on their website. It was not mentioned During our initial phone call. ( which is against the Law ) . We called to ask about the Fee (scam) and what it was for. Brenda gave attitude on the phone and just kept saying “did you read the email”. If you are charging a $90 extra service fee don’t you think you should answer the customers questions? We also had to call all the kids parents to take food orders prior to the party. So you charge a fee but we play waitress. We sent the invitations, took the food order, put the bowling balls on and off the lanes , and brought the cup cakes. All the ally had to do was put the names in the computer and bring the the food to the lanes. The same girl who runs the desk does this so it’s not like and extra birthday hostess was supplied. Poor girl had to do 2 jobs. They didn’t even have to hand out bowling shoes. The kids who bowled with their sneakers on. We had only 13 kids. We paid just under $700 including tip. That’s over $50 a kid. If they were up front about the fee from the beginning I wouldn’t be that upset. We didn’t want to upset our daughter and cancel the party. We could not make other arrangements as we were not notified about the fee until 2 days before the party . This left us No other option. I will say the girl at the desk was kind , patient and very pleasant . I had no problem tipping her. When we asked some of the employees about Brenda ( Their Boss) one rolled their eyes and the other said “I plead the 5th.” As a business you should be transparent about any extra party fees when the party is booked. In fact laws state that those fees need to be on any price list or menu. I could have booked the lanes without a party package for half the price as we did all the work . ( The ally was empty) If you are booking a party I suggest reserving the lanes yourself or just beware of the hidden event Fee.

We went as a family this past Sunday, it was my kids first time bowling. We had the best time!! Friendly staff, very clean! They had the disco lights going and music playing which we all loved, especially my little ones. I would definitely recommend going here! I accidentally left my jacket, i called them the next day and they had it and kept it safe for me until i was able to go pick it up!
