Not so easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Commack and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Free dryer with use of a washing machine. Owner told me that they will be renovating soon! Update on 4/24/22. Dryers are now a Quarter for 25 Minutes. 3 Dryers Limit Per Customer. Of course there's always someone not following the rules during peak hours. Thank you to the owner for responding. We look forward to patronizing your establishment again soon! ESJ

We recently moved and, with a toddler and an infant to care for, quickly became embarrassingly behind on laundry. I was looking for convenient pick up and drop off service and found Honey Bee. I called and they quickly setup a pick up time for the following morning. We had SEVEN bags of laundry to do and it was delivered back to us fresh and folded 36 hours later - we could not believe that the turn around could be that fast! Everyone from the owner, Bruce, to the employees were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Edit to my prior 5 star review: I am changing my review to 3 Stars on the basis that they now charge for drying. I kept my original review below because I wanted my original opinion to be visible. I have been going to this laundromat for about three years, seen two ownerships. Bruce is a wonderful guy, and Sandra is wonderful. I will not come back once I find a new laundromat because I am really offended by the lack of transparency with respect to the drying. There is still a sign that says drying is free with wash, despite the fact that now you have to pay for drying. There is no way to know that until after you wash, and at that point you have to dry. It is a bait and switch, and not a great business practice. To be fair, the cost of drying is really affordable .25 cents per 25 minutes. My issue lies with transparency of it all. PRIOR REVIEW Honey Bee Launderette is fantastic. I’ve been a patron of this laundromat for about a year and a half, and it is has only changed for the better. The owner, Bruce, really cares about his business and it shows. Arguably the most economical laundromat in the area, there was no incentive to really upgrade the older less efficient machines. Yet, he still upgraded the machines and barely increased the cost per wash. Even better, the drying is still free! I can’t recommend this place enough. It is a wonderful experience with a newly renovated interior. Side-note, Sandra is great. Honey Bee is the place for me. Honey Bee is the place to be.

Love this place, amazing washers and dryers. Sandra is my favorite. But I guess in the summer they participate in a camp where they wash towels for the camp students etc. my only issue is why not close the laundry mat when doing this, there are no washers or dryers. Long wait because it’s small which I love but please close when doing this! So frustrating.
