Candlelight diner is a staple in Commack. The place is clean and well maintained. The food is good. The fresh pasta salad at the table is phenomenal. A crowd favorite. The host and manager is wonderful and polite. The wait staff is hit or miss with being friendly. I would recommend this diner for a snack, a meal or a late night delight.

Always a solid choice, been going here for 30+ years. Menu has been pared down after Covid, but still so much to choose from. Good blue plate specials.

Food was ok; I was a table for one; waitress basically after taking my order ignored me; and to make matters worst after ignoring me; says to me check?? wow; no Can I get you anything else? or how are you doing? I grew up with this Diner; need to train their servers better, was never like this years back;

Had a meeting here & it was a very nice environment. Very clean, calm, & quiet. The waitress was a big help & is very good at her job. Food looked good, I didn’t order any but I ordered a drink & it was perfect 👌🏽
