We loved our stay at KOA Bar Harbor. All of the staff were friendly. The store had a good amount of supplies. The location is convenient to the main road. Definitely spend some time exploring the Pebble Beach. I could sit here for hours and that could have been my vacation alone. The views make it worth the money. If you can do an oceanfront site, just do it.

Good Campground with nice amenities for family. "Big Country" led us to our patio site with a grill, fire pit, and patio table with chairs. He gave us the rundown of the local area and attractions. Campground is clean but could use some upgrades. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only a few wishes...few more trees/cable not at sites/wifi is spotty. Great location for all Bar Harbor/Acadia attractions! Would have given 3.5 if I could due to price versus expectations. Guess you pay for location. Would stay again though.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin for 5 nights in June 2022. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and I loved having enough hooks and shelves for all our things on the inside. Site felt very private with greenery, made for easy enjoying around a campfire or to eat outside. Quick drive to Acadia or Bar Harbor. Store was well stocked. We LOVED our stay here.

The good: Location is ideal for visiting Acadia NP. Campground hosts are very friendly, liked getting text reminders for events (even though we didn't attend any). The not so good: Cabins are far from the bathrooms (they have new ones placed nearby, but they are not functional yet). Ours did not have a curtain on the front window and the curtain on the back window was paper thin. There was a table area but no chairs/stools. Didn't like having doggy bowls present when we did not have a pet (chairs would have been much better). Weirdly, there were 2 mattress layers on the full bed. It was okay comfortable for a single person; not so sure it would be for 2 people. The worst: the screen door has a huge gap at the bottom all the way across, as does the door to the cabin, thus bugs can (and do) get in the cabin. Could (and should) easily be remedied with door sweeps. No heat in cabin.
