They were able to replace my bottom bracket while I waited. So happy they have managed to stay in business in this difficult year. Fixing bikes is an amazing and important skill, and these guys are awesome.

I've had 2 good experiences and 2 bad experiences here. The bad ones involved two rude or dismissive attitudes, and one apparent misdiagnosis. (Too much detail on the misdiagnosis: I asked for replacement of a split gear shift cable; he said he can't do it because I need to replace the shifter and parts are backordered; I ask for an explanation and he just repeats himself without answering my question... I take it elsewhere; they replace only the cable and all is well as I expected.)

Not much to laud this place for. I went here only because it is around the corner from my house. I will never return. Their Small inventory is one thing, but RUDE STAFF is what bothered me most. True story- I went in for a bike tuneup. The mechanic, Randall, heard my last name and discovered that he once knew my father. He went on to say some disparaging things about him, much to my shock! I left the store being told my bike would be ready later that day (Friday) I waited for a call...never got one. Ended up going in Tuesday to find out it had been sitting waiting for pick up. When I told the owner, Eric, that I was not happy with the mechanic's comments, he apologized and said that he's had to apologize for the mechanic before. I never did get an apology from Randall. I will never go back because of this incident. Belmont Wheelworks is way better anyway. I buy all my bikes there and their prices are better!

I recently broke a pedal half way through a 50 mile ride. This was close to Bikeway so I limped over to the shop. I did not have any money nor did I have my ID. They handed me a set of $80 pedals and asked me to come back and pay at a later time. I was back en-route in a few minutes. I called them the following day and settled-up over the phone. I build and fix my own rides and have had less than satisfactory experiences in actual bike shops. However I WILL be looking on the Bikeway site going forward and will buy from them if possible. I will also point folks their way. Again, thanks for the help.
