In our small town we don’t have all that many affordable options when it comes to dining out, that’s why I love Applebees! Consistently good service, great food, great deals, I just love this place! Also, I just had a question so I called and spoke with Sarah, she had the absolute BEST personality!! She was so pleasant and helpful, and upbeat!!

Food is ok. French onion soup is a salty mess. They know it but still serve. Apparently it's bought in bags from corporate. Seems they are in trouble if this is how it's managed. Try other places first.

My coworkers and I, were visiting Sanford today from NH and we loved the atmosphere and how friendly and attentive our server Lindsay L was. She made our experience really amazing! Great job!

The waiter was a very nice older woman. She's probably the only reason I would go here again. 2 stars because we ( myself and 3 kids ) had to wait 45 minutes for a table. Their app said there was no wait time and wouldn't let us reserve a table. The 3 teenagers chatting in the entry assured us the app was accurate, and didn't call anybody to verify. I'm there stuck with 3 hungry and impatient children. They had kids menus with activities, but no crayons. The food was good, but it tasted like it had extra salt. I got a salad. The kids food looked and tasted like a McDonald's happy meal; excessively processed frozen food. Pretty basic stuff. Not a great place to eat. I hope it closes and something better opens up that makes better food. I don't even care about the lackluster employees that are running the place, you get what you can get. I came out for a meal with my family and I know for dam sure that I could cook a better meal with little to no effort.
