Small & beautiful gerry park.parking is free on site & you can see lots of ducks swimming on pond.

I've never seen a sign indicating dogs aren't allowed. I think if you pick up after them and keep them on the leash it's okay. I've brought my dog there before and seen others with their dogs walking. Hempstead Beach Park does allow leashed dogs on the promenade and paths. If you're in the area, you might want to check it out.
