Love this cute museum! Always so welcoming and clean. We enjoy this childrens museum so much! Great pricing to get in and I love getting the membership as well.

We've been coming to the lutz as often as we live nearby and we love letting our daughter walk around to explore, play and interact with other kids. Business varies, but it's always great. She loves going into the bank, coloring and seeing the animals. The staff is super friendly and all the other parents/kids are nice.

Staff was friendly and the building was clean but it definitely was not worth the 8 dollar admission. My neice quickly ran out of stuff to keep her interested for 30 minutes let alone the 4 hours they claim. I guess it kept her occupied for 30 minutes but that's about it.

First time brought my 2 year 7 months toddler here. Reservation online was easy and was made the day before. Pay upon arrival $8/person. Only around 5-10 kids here so it didn’t feel crowded at all which is awesome. The place is small though, and my impression when entering was this is it? My toddler played for around 2.5 hours, going through the sections multiple times. The place is great for kids 5 and under, since most is through pretend/imagination play. There’s a bank, grocery store, classroom, farm, puppet theater, upstairs home, nature center, shadow room. There’s also an activity room with a stage for special events, for today it was crayons and coloring pages. There’s also some animals to see too. I enjoyed the old vintage themed items throughout, which can show kids nowadays how things were done back then. Overall great way to spend some time. We’ll probably check out other museums before coming back. Definitely enjoyed coming here for the first time!

For little kids and they dont offer community service . when I was a young teen I,volunteered at an equestrian and they signed off for my community service hours
Yes, although the place is pretty small. Sometimes they can pet some of the animals tool. Also Laura is wrong. She might be thinking about kid city. Lutz does not have a toddler room and it is not huge at all.
There is not a website for the home school group. Call museum staff and they will put you in contact with the outside group that runs the program.
Yes. I think it's $7 per person for single admission. You can get a family membership (up to 2 adults and 4 children), for $145 (pro-rated if bought throughout the year), which grants you free admission, and also gives you free or discounted admission to other science and children museums in the country and abroad. I have this membership and love the freedom it gives us to visit museums.
