Been here a couple times. Each time had great service and bought tackle and bait at good prices. Will always go to Mitch's when in the area.

Mitch is great. Younger guy he has working there is a liar and I caught him directly in one yesterday. It cost me time and money and all together was just a poorly thought out lie. Been going there for years, won't be back as until the new guy works elsewhere. He is destroying Mitch's reputable name. I'll remove this review once it's handled.

After fighting some health issues for the last several years i had found myself mentally and physically down and searching for something to do to help me get motivated once again. I decided to once again take up fishing. I tried most of the bait and tackle businesses in the area and found Mitch’s to be my go to shop. First impressions and original post solicited by Ryan: Stopping there on the way starts my fishing trip off very enjoyable. They are very courteous and have anything i have asked for. Ryan always greets customers with a smile and is very upbeat. He will take the time to answer even simple questions without looking at me like i am stupid. He seems to enjoy what he does and takes pride in his job. He never complains and speaks highly of his boss. He helps start my day of fishing very enjoyable. I recommend Mitch’s to other fishermen i run into and am also surprised how many of them already patronize Mitch’s. They all speak highly of Ryan. Stop by and see for yourself. Update: I find it necessary to eat most of my words in my first post (above) and make some corrections. First of all, I have found Ryan to be very negative and rude to me and many other past customers. He treated me like a customer should be treated until i posted a positive comment he talked me into on this site so ''he could get $50.00 from Mitch". Then shortly after it was uploaded he became a jerk and didn't have time to deal with me. Similar comments made by many other fishermen are similar. They do not patronize "Mitches" anymore either. Mitch deserves better. Ryan has and continues to destroy his business's reputation.

I read a lot of previous reviews after visiting this place and I see a lot of people saying the guy was rude. From what I can tell he may be a bit standoffish but he’s not rude everybody has different personalities I’m 35 and just started saltwater fishing and I came in asking about what baits to use, where to go, how to use it and Both the guys in they were more than helpful. It just appears that some people feel entitled and think just because they’re a customer they have to be treated like kings and queens. This will definitely be the only place I return to in the future. Great merchandise and great people in there.
