I would not order online through this business. I Pre ordered for items months ago and have received no support on getting the items or my money back. I have called, Facebook messaged, even appeared in the store. No one can assist me except for the mystery owner that is never there or is always "in a meeting" and unable to assist me. Sure feels like a scam to me.

I stopped by this comic shop while I was in town visiting my cousin's college, and I was definitely impressed. The store is spacious, well kept, and well stocked with collectibles, memorabilia, Toys (vintage, new, to be played with, and to be collected), and of course, comic books. I was especially impressed with their list of celebrity appearances for signings. I saw a sign that said Kane Hodder was coming to the shop on Halloween and I was impressed that a comic shop in Springfield, MA was able to pull that off. My only gripe with Zombie Hideout was that their section of trade paperbacks of indie comics was rather limited, especially when compared to their vast stock of pretty much everything else.

Love Zombie Hideout and their meet & greet events. Owner & staff are all wonderful. If anyone has not visited the store, you must go. If anyone decide to go to a meet & greet, I recommend pre-ordering ahead otherwise you may have much longer wait. I pre-ordered and had long wait but was well worth it.

Finally popped in to check this place out. It's deceptively huge and packed to the brim with collectibles, which is cool! The comics are all crated and I wasn't sure where the newer stuff was; though I did see "classic comics" labels on some of the bins I thumbed through. Had been expecting to see more racks for presenting newer issues but only really saw one for the compilations. I'll definitely be going back. Decked a star because it was awkward in there. Wasn't sure who worked there, some guy was in a random chair in the middle of the shop glaring at me--to a point it made me wonder if I was doing something wrong--some dudes were at the comics, not sure if these were all customers or employees mixed in. No one directly acknowledged me as I was in the store. I probably would have stayed a bit longer to check things out but it was uncomfortable. Will check in some other time, may have just been an off afternoon. Happy to see a comic shop in the neighborhood!
