Beautiful place with church and monastery. Also there is amazing park with statures.Everything is very well kept and looks amazing! People who live and work hete are very friendly. We didnt have a chance to try food because due to the COVID monks didnt come from Lithuania. But it was very pleasant to be here.

The monastery and the surrounding wooded grounds are perfectly serene, peaceful, and lovely. The Franciscan Brothers are warm and welcoming, a true joy to converse with. Many of them are elderly which has gifted them with a wealth of knowledge, experience, as well as a delightfully gentle sense of humor, which they will happily share with anyone who asks. In the summer, masses may be held at an open air “grotto” on the grounds, which I highly recommend. There is also an extremely well-stocked gift shop, much of the proceeds of which go toward efforts to save the monastery from closure in these difficult and uncertain times.

Quaint little place within easy walking distance of the beach and Kennebunkport. The breakfasts here were wonderful and everyone was so very friendly.
