I previously called regarding an item that was not appearing on their site. The girl said the computer was showing only 1 of those items so her exact words “we probably don’t have it if it’s saying 1” I kindly asked well can you please go physically look that is why I am calling because I’ll be driving a long distance to come get it. She returns and says “Good news there’s 1 in store”. I kindly thanked her for checking and asked her since I’ll be driving from quite far to get it can you please place it up front with my name. I’ll be there in 2hours. She said “yes, I’ll have it on a cart ready for you.” I drive and get there 2 hours later, no one can find the item. Finally, another store assistant gets ahold of her to say “oh yeah sorry it just sold”…. It is frustrating that I just spent 2hours to go get it with an employee confirmed to me that she would hold it up front. So as I am there and already drove quite some time to get there, I figured I’d get the 2 other items that I could have easily gotten by driving 10minutes back home. NO and I mean NO Home Depot Employee knew where or what the items I was looking for was…one item being “drywall screws” thank goodness the website was more helpful than the employee that gets paid to tell me what aisle I needed to go to. It seems like the only employees I could see would rather huddle around in groups, on their phones and avoid assisting customers.. Very disappointing, but I guess I’m not the one paying them and they aren’t representing my business. So I can’t be the upset one..

This place is a joke. Ordered a rug and waited a few days after the expected delivery date to go into the store, stood in customer service line for a good 30 minutes before anyone even made eye contact with me as I was standing there. There were 4 people behind the counter. They told me that my rug was most likely there but they would need to go in the back and find it so I needed to come back in 3 days!! It has now been a week and a half and still no rug. I’ve been on hold on the phone for 20 minutes now as I’m writing this.

I am standing in the rerun lane. One person working and seven people waiting. She never called for help. After 10 min. Another person finally showed up but one customer was taking a lot of time so two extra employees were needed.

I bought a Honda lawnmower and needed help getting the large box into my car. I waited at least 20 minutes and after asking two times for assistance. The person who helped me get the mower on to a cart saw me as she was bringing an item up to the check out. She asked if I had asked for help, She took it upon herself to assist me out to my car, letting my 10 year old grandson steer the cart to my car and having him help her load it into my car. Not only did she help me, she boosted my grandson’s confidence to assist in lifting a large box into my car. It also gave him the confidence to help me get it out of my car once we got home. It was a good day!
