The staff is very friendly and the store is clean. I like the convenience of the self-wash dog stations in the back, which have a leash in the waist-high tub, dog shampoo, towel and dryer. It beats using the tub at home by far. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because sometimes I have trouble finding the pet food I'm looking for, but I still like going to this store.

NIGHTMARE, NIGHTMARE …This was a complete NIGHTMARE! I’m so disappointed and upset at the service or lack of provided by JULIA B. Everyone knows mini golden doodles are the cutest. However after 3 hours of JULIA with my baby, pI get a call saying my lil buddy is stressed out and she won’t be able to finish.SMDH i immediately rush to my baby only to see he was being held in a dirty cage full of some other dogs hair. He had patches all over his body from the hack job JULIA performed on him. …. DO NOT BRING YOUR FURRY FRIEND THERE. I PROMISE YOU THAT A TEENAGER WITH SOME CLIPPERS WOULD DO W BETTER JOB! This type of service is completely unacceptable

Great staff. They're always very helpful and my dogs love them. They always have what I'm looking for and are great with their suggestions and advice. Best loyal companion in my opinion. The store is a little outdated, but they still have everything I need.

I am new to the canine world and found Loyal Companion in Stoneham to be a great resource. Chris and Taylor are so knowledgeable and have listened and assisted me in finding the right food for my puppy. More recently, my puppy Mollie had stopped eating her regular kibble and became very fussy about her food. Chris and Taylor gave me a few suggestions and even a sample to try at home. Their assistance and suggestions helped get my Mollie excited about mealtime again and reduced my stress when I saw her enthusiastically eating again! I’m very grateful and feel confident in shopping here with their caring staff.
