At first I was so excited to send my dog here. After not even 7 days of daycare my rescue black lab was deemed too "high energy" and "too much to handle" by this daycare. The staff would email me and say she had a great day and when I picked up I would be told the opposite. Stories never matched up. I would pick up my dog and her prong collars would be on wrong or not on at all. Ex-employees of this daycare have told me the dogs spend more time crated then out playing. My dog hs stayed full days 7am-5:30pm without being taken out or given her food. (Have been informed it’s under new management, but still wouldn’t leave any pet here again.)

The staff is very friendly and professional! It is very clean and my dog was excited to run inside and never looked back! She loved making new human friends during her boarding experience. We got daily pictures of her interactions while we were away for 4 days. We will definitely be using this as our boarding place and will incorporate some doggie daycare playtimes as well. Wanted to update as my dog is now back to going here once a week for daycare. I'm very happy that they reopened on a better schedule and staff is amazing! It seems they are better than ever!

We use the daycare services at the Barking Dog and have had nothing but a good experience here. They have a lot to offer and manage the business professionally and take good care of your pet.
