Berkshire Products has an enormous selection of slabs. It's worth the trek to visit their shop to see the mills in action and roam the vast hangars filled with incredible specimens. If you can't make it to them in person, their website makes it really easy to select materials with high res photos and free shipping over $1000. All of their slabs arrive dead flat and pre-sanded, which saves an enormous amount of time on my end. BP is an exceptional resource for furniture makers.

First of all, the customer service aand quality of the wood slab from Berkshire was very good. However, the shipping company they use was flaky, hard to deal with and delivered the package very late, not showing up during scheduled time windows etc. (Waited around from 9-5pm only for them to not come at all, had the same issue with this shipper, Saturn Freight, the last time I ordered a slab from Berkshire)
