Enormous place with enough terrific inventory to keep you looking for days. In addition to every flower, tree, and shrub imaginable, they have everything one needs for one's yard, PLUS clothing and gifts.

Tina from “Trees & Shrubs” really made this location amazing. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable about all of the plants and products. I have already gone back twice this week. Tons of diversity and quality of selection is unparalleled. I will end on a raving review for the staff, great experience!

Love Russell's, always find something I want. Great selection and staff are always very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. My go to shop for my succulent and cacti collection.

I stopped by for a few minutes to check out the houseplant selection and I was blown away! So many plants and products I wanted to buy! I can't wait to come back and really take my time to shop around.

Thank you for your inquiry. Russell's does sell blueberry bushes, but it's always advised to call our Tree and Shrub Dept. staff directly at 508-358-2283 ext. 403 to see if what you are looking for is currently in stock.
We carry the bags themselves, in season, filled (with impatiens, strawberries or other plants) or ready for you to plant. The fungus situation was quite a few years ago. We recommend that you plant impatiens in a different place than you did that year. (It is now 2019.)
Senetti is a great plant, we do sell it occasionally in our tropical greenhouse. We have found in the past it does not bloom all summer in our area, as the summers get too hot. Call our Houseplants department at 508 358 2283 x407 if you have any more questions!
Look for veggie plants in May. I don't think Russell's uses any neonics, but call them to be sure.
Hi Lee, We will be carrying several varieties of Blue Spirea (Caryopteris) this Spring. They should be arriving late April. Please feel free to call our Nursery Department for more information regarding varieties and timing of arrival! 508 358 2283 x403 Thanks!
Yes we do! We carry a huge selection of David Austin climbing roses in varying sizes. You could call us to contact the Buyer of Roses for more specific information regarding varieties and when we will have them in stock.
They're available now, I bought some Icelandic poppies last Sunday.
I'd call their flower shop. I doubt they answer such questions on this forum. They a t e always so helpful I'll bet you get an answer or satisfactory suggestion where to find out.
Thank you very much for your inquiry. Russell's discontinued sales of fish a couple of years ago. We do continue to sell water plants for ponds and water features, during the spring/summer season as well as some accessories. We are sad also; it became increasingly difficult to maintain the retail fish population so we had to make the difficult decision to stop selling them. The koi that reside in Russell's indoor pond are not for sale.
Thank you for your inquiry. Crocus bulbs will be available in the fall which is the planting time for spring-flowering bulbs. We hope you will visit Russell's to see our selections. Availability should be in September. We suggest that you join our email newsletter list to receive updated information regarding products, sales and events. Go to russellsgardencenter.com and click the red envelope button in the upper right corner of our website index page.
Thank you for asking, Renee. Yes, Russell's has gift cards which you may purchase online. Go to our website, russellsgardencenter.com . Thank you for your inquiry. Russell's carries Safer products as well as Neem oil and insecticidal soap by other natural vendors. We do not have lady bugs in stock right now. For details on products, please call our Garden Shop staff at 508-358-2283 ext.409. We hope this helps.

Don't know; give them a call.
Hi and thank you for your inquiry. I have been advised by our Perennials Dept. staff that we sometimes carry this type of moss. I suggest that you call our Perennials staff members directly at 508-358-2283 ext. 402 for the best information on what we have in stock and what might be on order during this busy season.
Poppies (papaver, the perennial Oriental poppy) plants are sold at Russell's, though it's late now for them. In my garden I have the annual California poppy, which has reliably and vigorously self sown for years. Started originally from seed, coming into bloom now (Boston) and will flower for at least a month.
Hi and thank you for your inquiry - We typically carry Swedish ivy in our Houseplants Dept. For details about what's currently in stock, please call that Dept. directly at 508-358-2283 ext. 407.

Logees in Connecticut have Meyer lemons. Their selection of house plants is superb !
They had some yesterday but not many.
We have a very wide variety of plant material--annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, houseplants, veggies, herbs xmas trees and holiday greens--each in season. Our selection of outdoor plants is the widest from roughly mid-April through June to October, depending on the type of plant and when it is best to plant them in this area. A greenhouse full of houseplants (including succulents and bonsai) all year round. Various indoor shops open all year round--gifts, toys, birds, seasonal/holiday, flowers (cut, arrangements, weddings), everlastings/silks, holiday lighting, lawn, indoor planting), and more. See our website for an overview. You can order gift cards on the phone or buy them in the store.
We do not carry rolls of sod. (Try a landscaper.)
I would call. I would also call Weston Nurseries and Thayer Nursery.
I just saw several beautiful orchids, large and small. More variety than I’ve ever seen in one place before.
Do not know.
Yes, we do carry all sizes, including 3' and even smaller! Most are in now (November 1). For more information on exactly what you'd like, please call the Christmas department at x601.
