This campground gets four stars because there is a lot of interesting stuff to see and do. Nice trails. The restrooms were pretty rough. They needed a remodel thirty years ago. Camp sites are nice and spread out. We stayed during the week, and the park rangers never showed up. We wanted to buy firewood but had to go to the Citgo just south of the park entrance.

Great state park. Amazing variety of mushrooms this year. A true hidden gem. P.S. if you never stayed here before you are close to major rail line be prepared for massive train rolling thru at 4am and blowing whistle. It is far enough away and I am used to it now but new campers are shocked.

Campsites were decent some have wooden decks to pitch your tent. People were not following quite hours. We could hear them late till 2 am. Just one bathroom and shower for a 60 sites and 10 cabins was too much. Not very clean as well. But the best part of this state park is the hiking Trails, well maintained and Marked.

Absolutely not.
Not year around. Season opened April 23rd. Through the NYS websites of State Parks - provides occupancy and campsite maps and site images and their availability... Book online. Hope that helps!
You might go to the website https://www.reserveamerica.com/ to find all the information, or just call the campsite telephone number (also can be found on the website). The reservation is done on the website as well.
Possible
Im not sure, that sounds too big.
No, there is electricity but no AC or bathrooms. The bathroom is about a 3 minute walk.
