Wasn't terrible, there's always an issue when you go to DMV, the woman was very understanding and helped me through it though. Came back 5/3/22, to surrender plates. Dropped off in envelope provided with $1 and just wait for email confirmation. Very painless.

Went to the mobile DMV in Marlboro, NY. A nice man greeted me outside and a female clerk inside was extremely helpful, patient and kind. The transaction was fast and easy.

How do I change my address on my drivers license and registration
Online doesn't seem to be working properly, I suggest calling after 8:30am to 11:30am. Not many operators on staff
You'd have to make a reservation online, then whenever you decide you can make it, you go with the vehicles information, mind you can only go to the DMV office that represents your home county. You need to physically be there and reserve a time.
Licence expires on 9/19, but can only get an apptmt for mid Oct. Do you know if I'll get penalized for that?
I made an appointment at the Ulster DMV, had all my forms printed out and filled out. I was in and out in about 10 minutes on May 24th. I transferred title and received new plates too. Much easier and faster and easier too.
They are open you have to go to the front of the building for any questions or paperwork or to turn in paperwork there will be people outside to direct you
