Very nice memorial to the victims. Worth a stop to pay respects.

Easy and free to visit and park. Many people left rocks and coins on the memorial - some of the other ways people memorialized them seemed “dark” and “altar-like” in my opinion. I still think it is generally a wholesome historical place to go if you have older kids though. I wouldn’t consider it a place to take smiling selfies because locals refer to those who died as victims. This differed from how I learned about the history in school. I’m impressed with the researchers’ work (posted online and not on site) in determining this is the actual location. For this reason, the memorial is newer. A nice opportunity to see recent developments in historical research.

Cool memorial with lots of history. Not much to see but it's worth going to while in Salem

A very sweet memorial to am extremely dark time in Salem's History. There is on street parking, no need to park at the playground. But if you do, it's a nice walk down to the ledge.

No you cannot walk up the hill at all.
It's possible. It is private property up the right side of the hill.
Hi, there isn't a graveyard because it is memorial dedicated to the individuals who were hung on the spot during the witch hysteria of 1629. The reason for no graveyard is because it is said that after the people were hung their family members would come, under the cover of darkness, and recover the bodies. This site was verified as the execution site by a team of researchers from Salem State University's History Department and other historians.
