Telephone and online information also available (800) 728-7825 satruck.org The Salem location does not accept any clothing or household items, however donations of non-perishable items are accepted for the food pantry, and for our feeding program.

On education...it really depends upon your interpretation of what constitutes an education. The second part of your first question, we are friendly...except to bed bugs. Hope that answers your questions.

While we usually do not take larger items, there is a donation bin in the parking lot, (off of North Street, turn onto Waters St. parking lot, from Mason St.) So yes, we can take smaller items such as CD and DVD players. However, the thrift shop will give you a receipt for tax purposes.
