The living experience is ruined by a handful of people living here. People will park their vehicles right outside your apartment blasting their music so loud the walls and floors will shake. This will go on for hours at a time sometimes. My immediate neighbor trashes the place. Leaves her belongings spread out across multiple yards, including actual garbage such as empty food containers. The majority of the people living in housing are good people, it's just a few who have no respect for their neighbors or their living environment and they ruin it for the rest of us. Housing doesn't really care about noise complaints or any kind of complaint for that matter. As far as the garbage maintenance picks it up instead of having the person responsible clean up after themselves. In addition there is constant screaming, stomping, and banging on the walls.

Not a bad place to live, could be better for the people who actually get up to go to work and pay their taxes. They pay no attention to Mcgaulley Avenue, poor road needs redoing but all that's done is patch work. They say that it's not affordable but the administrative staff seems to be profiting very well driving cadillacs and maintenance receiving brand new one ton trucks and bucket loaders. I recommend going to your local mechanic and having them doing an evaluation on your vehicle steering and suspension then send Plattsburgh housing the bill by certified mail, or start a petition. We're now into the year 2019 and still there's no surveillance cameras covering their court yards, roads and other property except where the big shots work out of. Children and lowlifes vandalize people's property. Drug sales are at the highest and in plain sight, housing cop never patrols. Very rarely do you see anyone supervise their children. They forced a washer usage fee on us in addition to our rent when in fact it's the carelessness of their tenants children turning the outside faucets on and leaving them on for days. For an organization that claims to help people they have an insatiable need to be in control. They must know absolutely everything about you and heaven forbid you pick up a temporary job lasting, let's say only a week, because well you know they got to charge you for that now by raising your rent.
