They do help people but waiting list is involved after you apply

My tenent got Covid and is in a nursing home with dementia . She won't be able to move back and I am getting no rent for 3 months. Is there any assistance from the state for landlords?

Good question um if a tennant has vermont state housing it all depends on what voucher program they r on for instance I work with them and pathways vt and my voucher is called shelter plus care I've been homeless 11 yrs but most likey if u contact they're ppl they r working with about it there is an application they and urself need to fill out n send back in I'm not sure what it's called but economic services will pay u rent

NO! Its a DIRECT violation of the Tenancy Addendum, assuming you are on section 8. They cannot charge EXTRA amounts that are not included in the HAP contract OR items that "are customary included with the rent". They are in VIOLATION of federal law, and they CANNOT evict you for NON PAYMENT of these illegal charges!
