We had a fun day at the maple farm. We took the self guided tour of the farm - very informative on exactly how maple syrup is made and also the history of Morse Farm. We gushed over Rex and James, the family goats, and then did the maple syrup tasting. We got to meet one of the seventh generation owners. The shop is loaded with great souvenirs and of course we loaded up on maple syrup. We snacked on maple candy and had a maple creemee. Yum! They even shipped it all home for us. I took the bottle with me to my local diner and put it on my Belgian waffles.

A quick call late in my day, made my day! Morse Farm is a treat, and a great member of Harvest Hosts. The shop offers all the Vermont charm and expertise I could have asked for, all while I spend my evening and night overlooking the beautiful Vermont mountainside. There are picnic tables to enjoy or comfy wooden yard swings with a fabulous view. I have to admit it: I'm "sweet" on Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks!

We visited as boondock camping guests through Harvest Hosts. This farm store was great. We picked maple butter, local jellies, fresh strawberries, and of course maple syrup. We visited the friendly goats and enjoyed the expansive view across the fields.

Cool little place to visit if you are in the area. Watch the video to see how they do it. The store had many many things maple and maple syrup. The owner gave my kids free maple candy lollipops.

No, they don't give tours of the farm, but you can walk a trail through the fields, feed some goats and see where they make the syrup, although that operation won't start up until Spring.
