Love Napatree Point, the wife and I kayak out here all the time leaving our of Barn Island. The beach is always nice, good waves and not too crowded. Highly recommend for some salt water therapy.
Food and places
Best place to visit with pets, and we love spending time viewing sunsets..

Free street parking is limited to 2 hrs so from street parking you can get to the beach and maybe take a quick dip or a quick hike to the point and back but a day at the beach gonna cost a parking ticket or paid lot. The street parking is more for shops and restraunts
Yes, the beach is open. Pricy to park and quite a long walk in.
I've never had to pay a fee to anchor. If only worry about a time limit, not sure about that.
I would not recommend that. There is however a beach by the carosel in watch hill that would be more favorable.
