I'm the second generation living here from Massachusetts. Wonderful people and lots of activities to enjoy. Beautiful Marina to store your boat. Excellent place to retire!

Prices are 7 times more than when I looked just a year ago. I cannot believe people are willing to pay for a 40 year old traileripwards of 150 . But it's not my choice. The community I'd absolutely beautiful π β€ It still beats prices of the north. It is what it is. The park is clean and beautiful. There are only 4 homes available. So if you are interested hurry or they will be gone...loads of activities pool pickle ball over 55

My folks organized the tenant buyout of the park a few decades ago, so I am partial to the place, but it is a well run, friendly and affordable alternative to the glitzy communities surrounding it. Nice paths for walking, access to the Myakka River for boating or fishing (including a marina with slips and a boat launch). Several nice lakes, with reported good fishing, but watch out for the alligators! Management of the park works for the residents, and park facilities are steadily improving. We had a tornado warning in the middle of the night during the July 6th hurricane, and the alert system, and the clubhouse shelter made us feel quite secure (the clubhouse lower floor is rated for tornado shelter, but isn't high enough off the water to be a full hurricane shelter). An active community of folks who make their own fun and generally get along pretty well with each other. There are a lot worse places you could choose to retire...

Is there a mobile home available and how much is the lot rent?
Yes you can. go to myHarborCove.Com and see the ones that are listed there or at our office the realor has grab and go lists printed in a clear box outside of the office by her door. Or you can drive around look at signs. There are several for rent for sale and I know of at least one for lease. Hope this helps you. It's a great place to live.
I think there a few, but ours is rented already.
I visited there because a friend was interested in buying . You own a share . You never clearly own the lot per se. It's 1/99% It's technically a better way to go in Fl Mobile Home Parks . Otherwise you lit fees in some communities can be as high as 1000 per month. There were only 4 homes available. What I could have bought last year for 50K in Fl in general has now triple that. There is no end in site. However, the community was lovely. Lots of activities. Do the math the owners are taking advantage of a grossly overpriced market. Caveat Emptor!
Some areas are, there is stipulations in the size of pet.
Yes but only for residents
Not gated
Would like to speak with someone about units for sale or new units
There is a realtor on site I think you would call the office number in press 2 for the realtor. There are some for rent I don't know if there's actually a list or not
Check with H C realty
They have a separate pet section. If you contact them directly they can best describe.
Most rentals are $2000 an month for at least 3 months.
Not sure, but if you go to the web sight it should be on there
Most of the places are 2 bedroom but it looks like at least one 3 bedroom is on the market. Pets are allowed but only in certain areas.
Yes, call the office
They have rental lots prices vary. Cheaper to buy.
