I made an appt on line to register a newly acquired boat. It is went better than expected.. I was given a choice of days & time. Took only a few minutes. Then I went down the day before to make sure I had the correct papers. The check in gentleman was extremely helpful & nice. The next morning I got a text reminding me of my appt. I went & the check in fellow, a different one, again was very helpful & friendly. I was in & out in less than 20 min. Sooo much better than the old system! Thank you DMV. Didn't give 5 stars cause lady in window 6 was a grump.

I waited a bit,but considering they are short staffed it went fine. The gentlemen that waited on me was very pleasant and quick.

I have never written a review on any website until today. Dec 27 2021 I ordered a duplicate of my id as I’m flying out Jan 20 2022. I was told 7-10 days. Finally Friday Jan 14 2022 I called the dmv as I have not received my id. I was told the printer at the factory broke. My id was one of the ones help up that it would be coming but I could go to the dmv today for a print out to fly. Ok cool. I make an appt still have and hour to be seen. Cool. Get to the window explain to the lady what happened she looked my info up and straight out told me I never ordered and id and made me feel like a liar. I pulled up my receipt on my phone and because it said judiciary bureau for 20 dollars she then again said I was a liar without saying I was a liar because that’s the court system. I tell her let me call the dmv myself and let her hear what they said. As she is whispering to her co workers about me I’m still on hold. She comes back and says what nobody is answering with an attitude. I said I’m on hold for an hour and I’m gonna continue to wait. Out of no where she comes out slaps the print out of my id down. I said oh you found it. She said no my boss did. Never did she apologize for how she treated me one time for the dmvs mistake not mine. I was treated like I did something wrong or I just wanted something for free. Instead I just wanted a print out of what I waited for nothing further. If people do not like their jobs that much they should probably seek employment else where as everyone is hiring. And as someone who works in customer service I promise to never treat a soul like that. It was disgusting and further more I will try to never have to go to the dmv again and do everything through the mail.!

Very organized. The woman at window 6 was not friendly. She was angry and yelled at us when we asked a question. Then, at the end, when she didn't apply the Canadian pass, she yelled at us and asked us why we didn't say something at the beginning. Not a nice person. Should NOT do customer service. Maybe warehouse work would be better for her. The rest of the system was super organized. I looked around at other windows and people were laughing and I heard kind voices. Just don't get pink hunter woman at window 6. She will bite your head off.

There is no cost. The application should be mailed to the address on the form.
The sign on the door says appt. only so I made an appt. But I tried my chances at walking in for a regular. renewal and a driver's license renewal and they helped new with no issues but also what helped wad that I had thre renewal paperwork already on me. So if it's something simple then I would say to take your chances. Another person there was a walking also. I was out in less than 10 mins.
More context please. Is this something appearing on a bank statement?

With in the week but by appointment only
Contact the dealer. It should have been completed by now.

Your name should be on the title, and the financial institution would sign off as lien holder thus releasing all interest... hope that helps
Depends on if your registering a new vehicle and what the circumstance is.
You can write a check for someone else and not be present
Saint Albans is likely most convenient for you. That is not a full time office. Hours and required forms of identification can be found on our website - dmv.vermont.gov
No. But you still have to have a bill of sale. With the fact that it was gifted.

I'm pretty certain those are only issued to out of state residents to get you home with a purchase made here in VT. I tried to get one for myself a few years ago and couldn't as a VT resident. Not sure if you're in or out of state.

I have a driver's lic from Florida..I don't have a s.s. card with me ..what can I have need to apply
Yes....15 years old, no title required by Vermont
No. Look up immigration Canada to see what's involved in obtaining a pardon from them. It will cost a lot of money and I believe you have to wait 3 years after your sentence (probation etc) is finished.
When you receive a number of days from DMV (temporary registration expiration, grace period for inspection, etc) that does include weekends.
