It's secluded but has a beautiful view. There is public hunting land all around this area. There are many deep ruts and potholes on the gravel lane leading down to the boat launch, so evasive maneuvering is necessary, nothing some filler gravel can't handle. Don't litter please!!

The launch ramp was a little slippery, but you can expect that at any launch. The parking is ample and they have a port o potty there. We launched our Kayaks there and it was easy to launch and recover. It is probably a few miles to the …
