I LOVE THE STAFF! The staff make Home Depot. They have a top down attitude of being helpful, especially perhaps to me, a Senior Vet with a broken body, they are so kind and willing. The products are great, but products you can get anywhere, help like this? Not So !

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Walked around for 20 minutes trying to find someone for assistance, only to find someone who did not have any knowledge of what I needed help with, left me on an aisle alone to figure it out myself telling me it was a self service machine. Then to be harassed by another employee who apparently “works on that aisle” but was no where to be found when I needed assistance (but maybe a bathroom drinking on the job since his breath wreaked of alcohol) attacking me- asking if I work there, and being extremely rude, in my personal space, basically running me out of the store. He did absolutely nothing to try to help me, or approach the situation with a simple “oh I’m so sorry, it looks like you need help! That’s my fault! Let me help you!” Just an awful experience and I will not be going back to that store again. Management was informed of this, and they proceeded to do nothing to make it right. Terrible management, and hiring on their part. No one with that attitude or personality should ever be hired to work in customer service or on the floor. Send him to the back to stack lumber and unload trucks with an attitude like that!

I believe I'm "reviewing" the north Anchorage Rodeo drive (behind the old north way mall where Planet fitness is the only business operating out of there I think) between bragaw and commercial just off the seward highway 🛣️. For posterity and tourists sake.. (though I struggle to wonder why someone from out of town would "home improvement" supplies.. maybe the odd fan, or charger, elec converter, or perhaps they just need a "functional" thing from a chain store located "near downtown" as a local store may not be guaranteed to have) but I digress This particular store is my "home" store. As I live downtown just a few big city blocks away (think half mile). They are always predictable.. which is not necessarily a good thing. The young folks they have there have to almost always without fail check there smart phone to see even where the most predictable items are at . This is not a slight against these nice well intentioned youth working nights and weekends and the occasional dreaded day shift (what must be the LEAST favorable shift judging by there apparent lack of enthusiasm. Maybe it's just a millennial thing I "just don't get it" I've often thought I would LOVE working there and get.. somehow the opportunity keeps evading me.. perhaps wit the same day apply / same day hire/ same day work / same day pay practice they'll finally nab the big kahuna.. don't count your yard birds bub.. even broken (analag don't even bother millennial) clocks (⌚ not 🔢) are correct TWO times a day (again millennials just smile and nod and look it up on your "smart" phone 🤳). But i digress. From the greek di meaning "move" thus dynamics vs static meaning stand or make firm (I'll leave that one completely "up" to ur imagination) grati as in gratuity so "to move away from appreciation" makes sense eh? Wow holy digressional .. your welcome google yelpers. Et al But in all seriousness, as long as you can ask your smart phone as well as the kiddies using up the oxygen there at the old home Depot, you should be able to find at least the few things you need there. I've yet to peel back the curtain and find the god of all things domestic (domestics dominus maximus 👀👀👀😈 🙏👇🎉🕊️🦚😇🤑) so I'm a "static" believer that there is no god or devil pulling any strings in life AND in general at the home Depot or ANY commercial palace or syne"gouge"of sales, monetary monestary, or the like. Just a few well intentioned greeters and a tired middle manager with a special vest, trying to make sense of the whole thing just as much as we are. And we meet in the middle.. for do it yourself religious studies at your own pace with little to no guidance, teachers, or grades to speak of. Just a not so humble task (home improvement ain't nothing to f*ck with.. it ain't no joke.. especially the bill) performed by (generally)humble practitioners, quietly plodding away trying to make, at least, there small corner of the world.. just a little more "heavenly" and that ain't so bad now is it? I am a humble servant content with the small pursuit of perfection, knowing that this humble pursuit, may be more noble than the end goal of "eternal" nobility after we have left trader this "home" for the "big house".
