I've frequented Longbranch in the past with friends to play pool, enjoyed their burgers then they had a kitchen fire and it changed the food only because they were working out of a truck so I wasn't eating there anymore, but I loved the hole in the wall bar that it was and continued to play pool.... then I got married, had a son, and kind of didn't do the pool nights anymore. Went back for the first time in 3-4 years this last week and got a pulled pork for me, a cuban for my husband, and a grilled cheese for our son with fries and boy were we satisfied. Didn't realize I forgot how yummy they were!!! The fries are my favorite in town and the sandwiches were so yummy. All three of us were full AND had leftovers the next day! I love the in house made buns! One of our favorite local joints! Won't disappoint.

The best. Watering hole. Ever. Tasty cocktails and beer. It's not overpriced. It's loved by the locals. Staff is professional and very friendly. Food is tasty. What else is to wish for? I am not sure when will be the next time I am visiting Anchorage. Definitely this will be the first place I will come back to.

Came to visit Anchorage from Florida. Glad this place was recommended to us from a guy at King St. Brewery. Best burger I've had in a while. Food came out very quick and was hot and fresh!! 10/10 will go back!!

Odd place. They had decent food and we definitely got it nice and fast. It is however super dark inside and has low ceilings giving it a cave like feeling. It fits with the vibe of the place, but it's not somewhere I would regular. They messed up our order slightly which wasn't a big deal as it was fixed quickly, but it was the middle of the day on a Sunday and they weren't very busy so no real reason for it to happen. Regardless, decent food quickly was not something we could always find in all parts of Alaska so we enjoyed this. Not sure what the hype is with all the positive reviews, but it was alright and got the job done.
