I have loved this restaurant for such a long time it actually hurts me to have to write this review. I placed an order today to go,1 chef salad one Cesar salad add chicken 1 drink from the cooler $42 ( not including tip) The price shocked me and that was bad enough I thought until I got it home and opened it and found dead fruit flies in the chef salad. When the prices are lower and the food quality is better I have always overlooked things like the incredibly rude owner that appears annoyed that people are coming in and interrupting his day, but at that price it should be the highest quality food and service that Oneonta has even seen. Sadly that was not the case. Come on Alfresco's, do better, let us love your restaurant again.

Overall okay. Margaritas were a knock out, bartender was on their A game. The actual Italian dishes were just okay, red sauce a little disappointing. Solid garlic bread. The big knock is they really took forever to bring out the food, the waitress was very apologetic

Discussed with this place! I ordered eggplant parm add chicken. Paid 60$ No chicken added, very watery with no flavor at all amd the pasta taste like they opened a can of tomato paste and dumped it in. I've eaten here before it was amazing. I dont what happened to this place.

Today is may 7th 2022, this was a terrible terrible experience I'm in shocked at the reviews that say they are good. I'm a college student and tried to go out with my family, and I'm lenient because I know what it's like to work in customer service but this was way beyond just a bad experience. Coming out there the table cloth was plastic and the table was so wobbly that water would spill out of our cup if anyone put their hands on the table. The waitress noticed it was wobbly and picked up the table cloth and started stomping on the table leg make it stop shaking. The prices there were insane and the food quality and portion sizes we're small. We ordered an appetizer of mozzarella sticks and it was just 4 mozzarella sticks, for 7$ and they were frozen quality.we also ordered cheesy wings and it was very clear to us this is just bar food with melted cheese on it. Instead of maybe a cheesy sauce it was bar food wings with melted mozz cheese on it that would just slip off the wings because the wings were fried in oil, very unappetizing. The water came warm without ice. My partner accidentally ate a bug they mistook for food on the table, the whole restaurant was boiling hot. by partners foot felt something moving under the table and pulled up an entire floor tile. Our salads were served in a plastic bowl. The anchovies tasted like they were expired, and the food was really subpar. Red sauce was sour and the food was meh and tiny portions. The check was over 150$ for 4 orders of pasta mozz sticks and cheese wings. don't go here save your money and go to bell Michaels. Its nothing special but I mean if you really need to get Italian in Oneonta I would go there :/ but there's much better places elsewhere.
