The trail rides at True Sky Stables take you through the Brooker Creek Nature Preserve in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Children are welcome and encouraged to pet the horses. We recommend this stable. Thank you for a great trail ride!

My husband and I went for a trail ride with our tween/teen grandchildren a week ago (6/12/22) at True Sky Stables, and we could not have had a better experience! This was not a boring trail ride, where the horses just lazily follow along a worn out path. We have been on those, and like them, but this experience was different - in a good way. We still followed a trail that went through Booker Creek Preserve, but it felt much more like an authentic riding experience. Our horses were all gentle, and carefully selected according to our ability to work with them, but they definitely had their own "horsey" personalities. We learned from our expert guide, Derek, how to lead them successfully. Derek was calm, patient, and he gave us each very specific feedback to help us lead our horses so we and they could have a good ride. He was really great, especially with the kids. Our grandchildren were so thrilled with the ride and said they really felt like they learned a lot. They even got to try trotting their horses a little bit, which was very exciting! One and a half hours was just perfect for us on the day we went - plenty of time to get in a fun ride, and the natural surroundings of Booker Creek Preserve were so beautiful. We even saw a few deer, a snake, and plenty of beautiful birds. Booking was easy and handled very professionally by Trudy. We definitely look forward to returning to True Sky Stables soon for another trail ride!

I could rave about this place quite a bit. I could also give all the details as to why I adore it - ranging from how beautiful the horses are and taken care of to how peaceful the trails are and even how great the people there are. I definitely could go in to great detail but instead, I suggest everyone try it out for themselves so they can see why this place has the rating it does. Coming from a different ranch to True Sky really allowed me to understand how special this place is. I don't plan on going anywhere else.
