Not like there is a choice in my town… but I guess the selection is okay. The worst part about this place is the grumpy rude older ladies that work there. I don’t know why they would act that way to customers, but they definitely make the experience unpleasant. Fabric prices are through the roof! Average $17 per yard!!! When I was a kid it was around $2-$3 per yard!! Now it is literally cheaper to just buy clothes.

I love Joanns, however when staffing for a weekend and a huge sale they seem to always be so light on staff. The last weekend I was there they had one person working cutting and 1 working check it. Cutting took 45 minutes and the register took the same amount of time. It was ridiculous.

I'm not a very crafty person but I have frequented the store a few times with my sister. There is a good variety of things here and for the most part we have been able to find what we were looking for. There was however a material that was not in stock at either Anchorage location or the Wasilla location. We asked about getting it shipped to the store so we dont have to buy the 2 yard minimum online. They said they wouldn't be able to do that. It would have been nice if they worked together with their warehouse or whatever so that feature was available.

Next-door has all your crafting needs in one place. If you go on their app online you can get a coupon.They have a lot to choose from Lots of inspiration just walking around. I do like going to Michael’s more but I had to make the stop and look at what they had to offer here and I was impressed and I was more often don’t count them out.
