Long overdue congratulations to Chef Jaime Stankevicius on his success in the Neversink General Store. The standard menu fare is delicious, but the take-out meals are amazing! Our mushroom lasagna with white truffles was out of this world, and a real surprise to find in this down-to-earth neighborhood gem of an establishment.

Chef Jaime was incredible and very helpful with organizing our catered breakfast, lunch, and dinner and always delivered on time. Our crew was very happy with the meal selections and had only good things to say about Neversink General Store.

Stopped in for gas. The pumps appear to take credit cards but do not. Went in to pay cash and found two others waiting while the clerk was busy with taking a phone order. Very long wait finally filled up only to have the handle leak all over me and my vehicle. The regular customer waiting with me said he only uses the place when he has too. Mark - I had tried multiple pumps and so had my friends. None took our cards. Gas leaking from the handle is beyond a maintenance or parts issue. Blaming the employees for our group wait misses the point. Employees in the kitchen area that were busy talking could have been trained to help. Alternatively they might have been assigned taking phone orders. Please do not misunderstand my intentions. I want your customers to be happy and more of them to find and support your business. It is your business and that is where the solutions have to come from.

We have been open every day except Easter and Christmas since covid arrived. Not one staff member has been sick. We all wear masks. A plastic curtain separates staff from clients. All Clients and delivery personnel are asked to wear masks. If they decline we immediately ask them to leave and shop elsewhere. We have a pickup window operational for people who do not wish to enter the building. We deliver packages to cars when requested. Common surfaces are sterilized all day. The entire store is filled with ozone all night, every night, to sterilize every surface in the store.
I do not know of any. One of my cashiers might be subleting a bedroom in a 3 bedroom house.
Deli and Pizza are open 6am to 7pm, 7 days a week.
Sorry we are not. I believe you mean 'stop and shop' peapods. We are not a stop and shop supermarket. We are a local family owned grocery store with many local products, a deli, gas station and catering facility. We are experimenting with an app where you can order ahead of time and we will put your order together and have it waiting for you at the store. Very early stages still. Thank you, Mark.
Chef Jaime has a different special just about every day. Last week I opted NOT to cook twice. First night we had NGS Fried Chicken, Roasted Corn & Mashed Potatoes w/Corn Bread. The other night we had Beef w/Broccoli over White Rice. Portions are MORE than adequate. If a dinner fills MY hubby's belly, you can be sure it's hungry man sized!
