I have been going to this range for about five years. The range is good, well ventilated and has solid concrete blocks between the shooting lanes for safety. The staff is friendly and have been there a while, so they are knowledgeable, and always willing to talk about guns and offer opinions about what gun or ammo might be right for you. They also have a very good instructor, and I have brought 3 or 4 people in for instruction. I also have taken instruction from him myself. He is patient and good with people.

I took Mike's class here at Take Aim for my concealed weapons permit and it was awesome! Answered any questions thoroughly and had plenty of knowledge to share. Great scenarios for people to consider that they may not have and made sure everyone was comfortable before shooting. If you want experience, professionalism, and also a good time, look no further!

Took a concealed carry course here. Mike’s knowledge and expertise are second to none. Very informative on laws where and when you can and can’t carry. Little bit of humor thrown it so you don’t get bored. Most importantly he was strict on the gun safety aspect of the course. Would recommend him and his other classes he teaches.

Great training with Mike! He has a no-nonsense approach and creates a welcoming atmosphere in his classes. Mike is very serious about firearm education and safety, and doesn’t sugarcoat anything, his focus is on making you a better, and safer, shooter. If you do something right, he’ll let you know, if you make a mistake he’ll let you know. If you take it seriously, you’ll enjoy the instruction. I would recommend training with Mike if you’re serious about becoming a better shooter, but be prepared to be a responsible human with your firearms, because there’s no room for clowning around.
