Local book store with a heavy emphasis on sci fi books & comics, but also includes a coffee shop, records, game room, and collectibles & science toys section. Great selection, decent prices, and a unique shopping experience. Everything from the mural out front to the decorations inside are well thought out.

Nice place to find unique books and memorabilia. Great vinyl collection too. I was hoping for a bit more adult coloring selection though. Also, they have a foreign language area which is very cool but no language learning books.

A store with something for everyone of any age. Huge selection of children's books, sci-fi, fantasy novels, single issue comics and graphic novels, manga, pop culture figures and novelties, tabletop games, trading cards, collectables, vinyl records... You name it. The list goes on. They even will special order items if they don't happen to have what you're looking for. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. This is one of my favorite comic shops in all of Washington and always worth the stop in when I'm in the area. Check em out!

Yes but for 30 mins at a time. They set a timer and you have 30 mins to shop until they take a cleaning break then let customers back in the store

There is talk of hosting something along those lines in the cafe soon. Currently there is an FNM that happens every Friday at play live nation and emerald of Siam is in talks of starting Saturday afternoon magic.
You can turn in books, if they are accepted to sell you will get in store credit. And yes you can buy books and comics here

Great Question! We will take a look at comics for trade for in store credit however, we do not do mass trade in them and the type of comics we are really interested in tend to be the older, original runs. An easy indication is if they have the 20c or 25c mark on the front cover we would love to see them. We do have some connections that if you come in or call us we could refer you to for selling newer or larger quantities. See ya soon! B~

You'll probably want to give them a call directly to schedule a time during off hours or maybe before/after business hours.
Like any independent shop, their stock will vary. If they don't carry Elements, they could probably order it.
Go to the shop. You will find both knowledgeable employees and you'll find fans and collectors who are passionate, invested, and would love to discuss MTG with you. It's a store with a range of products including books, comics, and gaming so you can generally find a passionate source for most topics. The staff needs to know a bit about everything and being human will know more about any favorite topic. Fans, who have more time to specialize, would offer advanced reviews.
They will evaluate your items and tell you how much they can offer, so you can decide if it's worth it. Whatever they pay for your used items goes onto a store credit account for you.
Unfortunately I don't believe so, all of their staff is over 18.
