These people are supposed to have at least a lil iniative. Even a lil. The 4 that I've spoken seem like they normally work the mail room, and have no idea about Law bird documents.

I called and the lady said they do not help homeless and I need to have housing before they can help me. I thought they helped the homeless but she said no that is false. Very rude and she told me not to call anymore.

They never answer any questions, calls or e-mails. The one time I went to their window at Santa Monica City Hall the woman was as unhelpful as possible.

You can request Legal advise at Legal Aid in Santa Monica. Usually they don't answer the phones but you can walk in and request an appointment, it's not charge for the consultation.

I don't know that awnser but they are a great resource. I thought though that when a SSDI ruling happens they give you the appeal process as well? They a great resource I am sure they can help.
