The swim center is wonderful when an adult employee is present to supervise the teenage staff. When an adult is not present, however, the experience is different. The young ones working there seem to feel as if they have the run of the place; yelling at co-workers and adult-and-children visitors alike. It is unprofessional and rude. The swim center is not well off left in the hands of disrespectful children. That said, some of the young ladies working there are kind and know how to speak to people. Also, the lifeguards rotate in 10-15 minute periods. One was knitting while on watch. Myself and a friend observed how long her sights were on her handwork instead of the pool. About a minute, easily enough time for a child or adult to silently slip underwater. Do not trust these young ones to look after your children, you have to pay full attention, despite their job position.

I do not enjoy swimming here. I heard a girl say she had to potty and her mother told her to go in the pool!🤢🤮🤢 But I guess that is a hazard with all public pools. Some kid is always going to pee in it. Then again I am not entirely without some blame. I too pee in public pools, but that's different. I can swim in my own pee. I pee on myself if I get stung by a jellyfish so what's the difference? Other peoples pee though? What am I? A savage!? Dear lord. A mother allowing...nay! Encouraging her child to do such a thing!? Also the shower ran cold on me. What an unfortunate experience

There are no afternoon swims on the weekends or many days for a senior 73 year old who is doubly handicapped and cannot do the long laps. There are no special rates for elderly and handicapped people like I am. One day you may be old and handicapped like i am. John
