From 1 star to 5 stars- I was heard! Based on my first interactions, I was extremely frustrated. We are trying to move into the area from out of state, and our application was not accepted because my husband had not yet started his job. We were frustrated because we first need a place to live in the area in order for him to start his job. Mesa Properties reached out and shared the reasoning behind their policy. I appreciate and respect their dedication to protecting the properties they manage, but the policy definitely put us in a difficult situation not being allowed to move in to a property until the day of or several pay periods after my husband's start date. I was very surprised to see that they did change their policy to allow us to move in within a reasonable time of my husband's start date, along with other fair criteria to be met.

AVOID MESA PROPERTIES AS A RENTER AT ALL COSTS. Rented out to another person 3 days after we applied without notifying us of how our application was graded at all. There were no applicants when we applied. So, another person applied after us, was approved, and accepted before we were told a thing. it is not supposed to work that way, but there goes $115 dollars. Turns out, they most likely automatically denied our application because THEY could not verify our income or rental history. Who knows why we did not actually get it, since they never contacted us. We followed their steps and did exactly what they wanted. They failed to get in contact with landlords and check our bank transactions, and we got punished for it. I should have asked around about this company. Despite the more than 4 star reviews, EVERYONE I know who has dealt with this company as a potential renter has had an equally bad experience. It is funny how they post "Don't get scammed" papers all around the homes they show, but they might as well be a scam. Pay ridiculous fees to hand over tons of sensitive info only to be ignored and not even get a fair shot at renting a place. Why do you need my dogs medical records, my banking records, everywhere I have lived for the better part of a decade, and basically a full employment history?

Relocating to a new city is difficult but thanks for the help and reliable assistance from Mesa Properties Inc. Very welcoming and positive experience dealing with a group of talented individuals with strong communication skills and assistance to help keep the ball rolling. The team that they have are excellent and they have a strong work ethic to make your experience with the team take you where you need to be. I am very delighted to have been assisted by them during my moving venture and my family is GREATFUL to be blessed with finding a place we now call home.
