United States Post Office - Spring Carrier Annex

I actually have only had good experiences at this location. I think perhaps people are disappointed because they show up thinking this is a regular post-office, but it's not a "full service" usps. Shout-out to Sandra who was super nice and helped me out when I came! Whenever I have packages on-hold, or I have a "Vacation Hold" ending, I have to come here to pick-up, and I never had issues with packages getting lost or anything. Most recently, I had a Vacation hold end, and I did not receive my back-log of mail that day, so the next day, I came to this location to pick up everything. Sandra checked in the back, but didn't see anything, so she told me the mail carrier would likely end up delivering my stuff that day since he was already out on his run. She even gave me the phone number for the carrier in case i didn't receive it! Sure enough, I ended up getting my back-log of packages that day, so it all worked out. Thank you Sandra!

This has to be one of the worst substations in Long Beach. The substitutes ignore their job. They are consistently late and often do not deliver the mail. After 5pm delivery when our normal carrier is off and incomplete delivery is generally the case. Tonight they took the outgoing mail but did not deliver the mail that was clearly scheduled on Informed Delivery. Not the 1st time. Several times now when our regular carrier is off we haven't gotten mail and when the regular carrier comes back they wonder why the amount they have to deliver is so heavy well, it's because the substitute doesn't do their job, Someone needs to get better supervisors who can get the carriers to do their job. Obviously a sign of the times, no one is accountable for their performance. Mediocre to lousy is the acceptable norm now, just another sign of the times, Sad.

Usually I don't write a bad review cause we understand things happen but... Without a doubt this post office mail service from the mailman to those answering or not answering phones are the worst. My package was not delivered twice stating, "Delivery attempted - Front door / Driveway was not accessible", but we get FEDEX and UPS just fine. The items we ordered are crucial to our business, in which our doors are open during business hours. When I finally got transferred to the right personal(5 transfers later and 2 disconnected phone calls) the lady said to me, "are you sure the doors were unlocked during those time frames?" Never again will we use usps, for any services.

My package is usually left at my door which is fine but I got a notification saying it is set to be picked up at my local post office, cool. Just left the place the the clerk looked through packages that seemed like they didn't have a system of order. She just told me to leave my phone # and they'll call me back when they find my package? ITS IN THERE, LOOK HARDER. I'd even go to the back myself if I were allowed and show some more effort than she did.
