Very friendly woodchip Open dog run park with mostly well behaved dogs and owners. "Logan" loved to play with the other dogs. Easy parking adjacent to the park too. Many golden retrievers and poodle mixes. Water & poop bags provided.

This was my first visit with my new medium sized rescue. The area is smallish but adequate for dogs to play and get in a hard working sprint. Wood chips which was nice. Nice friendly folks, small enough to easily keep an eye on your animal and attend to cleanup. We usually go to the park on 190th but it is closed on Wednesdays and I actually think my dog enjoyed the smaller space with fewer dogs,. There were no less than 3-4 up to 8 on a constant come and go rotation. The posted rules forbid dogs on the path by the pond, the playground and amphitheater but I see by reviews that folks have walked there. Not sure if the actually took their dogs but we didn’t go there. But we’ll be back.

Nice addition to a wonderful park. It is essentially a long dog run with wood chips. Not much more to it. No frills, but nice enough! Beware the surrounding park has a lot of goose droppings. Also of note, it’s a single lane in and out of the parking lot for the dog park. So be careful, we witnessed an near accident. To be expected with one lane with two directions of traffic. The dog park is a bit hidden from the parking lot; but it is in between the baseball fields and the swim area, and the entry gate to the dog area is near the baseball fields!

Given the size and the reputation and the property values in this city, and if you compare it to the actual park it is in, the city should be ashamed of itself!! I did notice though that Manhattan Beach, of all the cities in the area, Santa Monica, Venice, El Segundo, etc etc what is the only city to not have any homeless people living on the street? And I guess they wanted to Dane make sure they didn't have any living in there dog park hahaha I guess it's all how you look at it. But I actually was walking around the park looking for the dog park when I noticed an area that had up there green cloth coverings that they normally put up around construction areas and when I looked over the little wall I noticed that the fence behind it was falling down so I figured that's why they put up the green barrier and that's when I noticed the poop bag dispenser, and that they weren't blocking people from getting to the fence that was falling down they were just hiding the fact that there was a dog park back there? But then again at least they do have one? And I did notice that due to the size of the park they are actually able to close it down every day for an hour for maintenance? And then of course don't forget your mask? $1,000? Is that really enough? Or is it too much? Or as Goldilocks said is it just right? And what about the dog, what if she can't read the rules, is she still subject to them and will I have to pay the fine for her since she doesn't have a purse or a wallet? And the pictures they normally show of the dog park are not of the dog park? They are of the other part that I included pictures of, so you could tell me if you saw pictures of that Park and that dog park would you even think they went together? Which is why I only scored them three stars.

Yes, you can stroll along the pond. But dogs have different trail.
