Be VERY careful of the windows you buy! Alside windows are sold by MANY replacement window companies. I personally can not recommend their Mezzo Double Hung window line. The windows we have are only 3 years old. We've had 5 of 18 window seals go bad and needed replaced. Dealing with their online warranty claims is a nightmare! When I went through the same issues last year. I thought maybe they were having tech issue with the warranty site, BUT the same issues still persist to this day. How do I know this, I am filing a SECOND claim because I have more window seals that went bad! The warranty department takes forever to respond to an email and when they do its an automated email that asks for the same information I sent in last MONTH! I wanted to give the company one star, but a gentleman named Blake, out of I believe this distribution center, went above and beyond what he had to do to try to assist me with my warranty claim. Reasonably priced replace window that either need better quality when being manufactured or a better run warranty department.

Very good company and great service with a few exceptions. Alside's low to mid-range products are better than average and very competitive in price. Their windows, siding, sliding glass doors etc.... consistently have a good fit and finish and typically beat their competitors when it comes to value versus price. Their sales force are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful to large contractors and smaller outfits alike and their warehouse/dock guys are just fantastic. Their high-end, custom windows and/or doors are, by nature, costly and in my personal experience I have seen a couple issues that one would not expect when one is paying top-dollar for a custom piece. I have also seen some slightly unprofessional behavior by two sub-contractors hired by Alside to service their products. However, neither of these problems are common or indicative of the usual level of service by Alside nor are they enough to significantly lower my review. One might want to keep them in mind though for those especially demanding clients to avoid any future issues. All in all, Alside is one of the better suppliers in Pittsburgh.
