Play equipment in good condition. Bathrooms were open & clean. Lots of both sunny & shady areas. Many moms with young children, 👶 babies. It was very cold the day we went with our grandkids. Highly recommend for the kids or a picnic on the benches or grass area

I would skip a weekday visit. This place is like a nanny hangout at the playgrounds. The nannies stick to their cliques, do not socialize with parents, and don't let their kids play with other kids outside of their nanny group. Weekends are a better choice.

This was a well maintained park, great for couples, family with kids and/or pups, and spending time with friends. On Saturday they have the farmer's market, which limits parking, but doesn't seem to sway anyone from wanting to come here. There's a designated playground and large play structure for kids of all ages to play on (with wood chips). Picnic tables and benches with a large tree for shade near the playground for those who want to have a picnic but still keep an eye on their little ones. There are tennis courts, plenty of grass space for a picnic (and some large trees which provide good shade), and a restroom on the far side of the park (but not too far from the playground). The park felt safe and clean and seems to have something for everyone to enjoy the outdoors.

Went for the Opera in the Park event by Orinda Rotary. I have to say I'll be back next year. Actually, i think I might come to see what else the park has to offer very soon

yes, i frequently see folks walking their dogs in this park
there's no lot, but street parking has 4h limits which is usually sufficient
