I had a great experience selling my truck back in 2016 with CarMax.... this year I needed to upgrade my current car since we are growing our family and decided to go back to CarMax. Not only did I sell my car for a great deal, I also purchased a Jeep Renegade! The process took some time, only because I wanted to see/test drive so many cars, but CarMax made it easy to do so and even had several cars shipped to my location. When I finally decided on which one to buy, I was out the door in just a few hours with my new car. Every single person that helped along the way as friendly and efficient, especially Chase at the LAX location- who helped me with everything at the end. (Thanks again Chase- you were awesome!!) Not only that, I got home to realize the steering wheel was off. They immediately realigned all tires and fixed all tire pressures. The service center team was friendly and quick as well! Definitely a huge fan of CarMax. Thank you all again for a great experience!

Excellent Customer Service.. My salesman OZZY was awesome. He answered every question I had regarding the purchase and some features on the vehicle. Also please know the sales people here don't hassle you to hurry up and make a purchase or make you feel pressured to buy. I will most definitely recommend CARMAX to all my family and friends. WoW! Did this just happen? I still can't believe how easy it was to trade in my 2012 Kia Optima for a 2019 Kia Sportage. The only stressing I did was trying to choose what vehicle I was going to purchase next. Why 4 Stars? Wish there was room for a bit of negotiating. Prices were reasonable for me regarding the trading price and buying price, customer service was awesome. I'm sure all the sales people there are great, but I worked with Brandon and Adrienne and they were awesome. Will update any changes, but if no updates, know that I'm enjoying my new ride! Bye bye Ruby Red (Optima) and hello Betty Blue (Sportage)

Bought five cars so far, Worst CarMax experience ever. Sale started with Stefanie, wonderful experience until the car wasn’t ready because of some hold and supposed to be picked up the day after. From there the whole car-shopping experience went downhill, and real fast towards hell. Car didn’t even make it back to the house, leaked coolant mixed with WATER in the driveway(pic included), not just that, they put a hold on the down payment been over week and still haven’t seen any resolution. Only, wait for this manager and that manager.

I'm in the military, but in order to sell the car you would have to register the car in your name. Making you the sole owner. If you don't want to go through all that you can always sell the car yourself as a private seller. The SPOA gives you limited power over the assets. It does not make you the owner.
