Such a beautiful & old building with alot to see. They have light refreshments available for purchase and t-shirts/souvenirs. Safe area with security and surveillance, never had any issues. Walking distance from three different food places and a grocery store.

very large station, two Amtrak and several Metrolink services per day
Half eaten iPod
After several long bus rides, with large cases and bags, spanning several hours we arrive at the station to find a printed notice on the door stating that our AmTrak train which we had seats booked for was cancelled. Pretty bummed. Got a refund but had to uber all the way to LA at much greater expense. Poor Uber driver thought she'd do just one more journey then call it a day, HA (Sorry). Some forewarning about the cancellation would have been appreciated considering how long it took us to get to the station. Nonetheless, pretty cool historic building. Points for being cool.

Beware, Amtrak doesn’t care about the safety of it’s passengers. Had a confirmed reservation on the Southwest Chief, I wasn’t allowed to board because I had a bicycle! It was packed in a professional case on wheels. The conductor was the most obnoxious person I’ve ever meet, she left me stranded at a deserted train station at night, am 62 years old. Amtrak has done nothing & their customer service department is useless & have never responded to my complaint.

No you cant
I know it goes to New Mexico !
I dont think they do unless if you purchase a ticket for student they will ask because they did that to me one time, but now, not no more.
San Bernardino is the end of the line in the east I think going west every hr
Go to metro link website Schedules, directions and fees will be listed..
Metrolink
There is detailed schedules for Amtrak and Metrolink in there official websites.
There are a few ways to do this... I usually prefer to take the bus there myself and all of this depends on EXACTLY where in Downey but this should give you some ideas... From San Bernardino there are two routes you can take. I HATE trying to catch the OC/91 line to Buena Park because there is such a small window of time between the SB line arriving at Union Station and the OC line leaving. If you dont mind the subway and light-rail you can take the red line to blue line to green line and that gets you to Lakewood or Norwalk. Another way is to take the OCIE line to Orange and the OC line to Norwalk. The best option, IMHO, considering I do this on a regular basis is take the SB line to El Monte station, take whatever bus (or do the 10 min walk) to El Monte bus station. The 577 is an express bus that will take you strait to Norwalk station with only one stop at Rio Hondo college. From Norwalk you can Lyft/Uber easily. Also: metrolink ticket is a metro day pass.
Amtrak!? 😮😮😮 I have seen that kind of options while booking local short tickets through the official website. But sorry I don't know if it works for the whole way you are planning. ...
Not on Metrolink, dont know on the buses, but the do have buses that go out of there
For Amtrak, please visit the official website and check it including option. For metro link, I have not seen laggage cars and big space for it.
Yes
You can go on Metrolink's website for that specific schedule. It will show train number and once you get to the train station, if the track number isn't listed on the website's schedule, it will show up on the board by the stairs what track to wait at.
If you can park overnight try Walmart places like that
Yes
Don't buy the sleeper. As soon as u board, put ur stuff on a bench on the observation car and sleep there.
First train leaves at 3:37am downtown San Bernardino. m-f on Saturday first train leaves 6:55 Saturday train dose not get to LA before 8 cost during week around $13
They have ramps for the disabled towards the front of the train
Why do people feel the need to answer just to say they don't know? It blows my mind.
I know it stop in Pomona but not sure how close ti the university
Yes you can, first of all, take Metrolink and go to LA greyhound depot then go to Oakland CA, It will take 10 hours around total, Good luck!
Si, you will like using MetroLink. I use it to go to work and also to go to Downtown L.A.
Take a look at the company's website. It changes.
Morongo is in Palm Springs about an hour and a half East

Depends how far you are going, I ride from San Bernardino to Baldwin Park and that is $11.
From Rialto Metrolink station take the SB line to Union Station. From there, take the Ventura County line from there. Helpful links: https://www.metrolinktrains.com/rider-info/general-info/stations/oxnard/ https://metrolinktrains.com/schedules/?type=line&lineName=Ventura+County+Line
There is a Metro ticket machine on site.
From downtown San Bernardino last train#337 leave at 7:47 to Union Station. Av 9:29
There's 24-hour you have to remove it by the last train of that day
Take train to Union Station, then take FlyAway to LAX
Always be at least 10mins early. Know which track you must be at. Have your ticket ready
