This campsite is a hidden gem in the middle of the green mountain forest area. It was recommended to us by the campground up the street as we needed a larger campsite for 3 tents and didn’t want to spend hotel room prices for camping! We paid $22 for a water and electric campsite! We got the site overlooking the lake with gorgeous view of the trees! There was also a Mountain View right there adjacent to the lake. People were so friendly and helped us light our campfire. Very quiet, peaceful ,serene place. No facilities other than the bathrooms and showers. ( a bit dirty) but overall camping experience was great!

My husband Kevin and I have had the pleasure of living at Howells campground this summer with our grandsons, and I must say it's the best summer we've had in a long time, we fish, swim, cold beer by a fire, not to mention everyone there treat you like family, so nice, and you have the laundry mat right there for your convenience, shower stalls, and let me tell ya, the water pressure is amazing, I recommend if you want piece and quiet, a family setting, relaxation, or just wanna float on a tube or fish, then you definitely need to visit Howell's!!! I give it 5 stars!!

We stayed here in our motorhome from 7/19 to 7/21 and loved it. The park is old, secluded, clean, shady, and quiet. There are nice bathrooms, showers, and laundry. Right behind our camping site was a large open grassy field bordered by woods and it was perfect for taking our dogs out for a walk. The camp is close to Arlington Village and the Orvis Outlet is just a few miles away. My husband went just a few miles to fish the Battenkill River for trout and it's close to the Appalachian Trail. Mrs. Howell was so cute, and so sweet, she was a great host for her campground and we will stay here again if we are in the area.

Hi Nancy, yes we have fishing on site, we have a pond with some trout, bass, bluegill, But we also have a path that leads down to the battenkill river known for its trout fishing. Also nearby in Manchester is Orvis where you can pick up all the supplies needed for fly fishing
11:00 am. But your welcome to stay longer during the day to use the beach and do a little fishing
Yes
Unfortunately we don't sell campers unless someone at the campground wants to sell a camper but just know if there is any for sale in the campground the camper doesnt come with the campsite
