Brought female cat to get fixed was very great toward cat. Helped us out so we didn't have to pay so much guided us in the right direction. I deff recommend them I'd wanting to fix cat but only downfall is they took forever to get our cat in and when we found kittens we called them cus we couldn't have cats at time and it was winter and told them situation but wouldn't take them in at all said it would be couple months even after telling them they didn't have place to go in freezing cold weather that's only downfall there animal shelter but won't take a animal in when in need.

We adopted a 6month old kitten from here. Went in looking for a very young kitten but walked by their cat room and fell in love with Diane, who we renamed Linda Lou. This is one of the nicest facilities we have been to and the Staff was very attentive and informative. Facility is very clean and we could tell the animals got plenty of love and care. Our new kitten is such a delight and our other cat and dog absolutely love her.

Adopt. Don't Shop. This animal center is amazing! I have adopted a kitten and utilized their spay/neuter program. The staff is all so friendly. My family has been extremely satisfied with every service.

We adopted a young cat in early July and are absolutely thrilled! Santana and the staff at Second Chance chose to introduce Sylvie, (formerly Mitzi) to me based on my requests, and it was love at first sight! It was obvious that she had been well cared for while there. The shelter is immaculately clean, Santana seems to truly care about each cat, and she transitioned to our home very easily. We gave her space for a few days, and gradually she felt comfortable around our dog. Now she’s the entertainment around here! Thank you Santana and Second Chance Animal Shelter!! You’re doing a fantastic job!!

Your best bet is to call and ask
Um... I don't work there, but they are not having the clinic on the 11th.
Post the question on Facebook Bennington Blotter.
They can direct you to a low cost spay/neuter program or a vet. They do not provide that service unless you adopt a companion animal from them.
We did get our kitten there, they ate very helpful so I would suggest calling them.
Not a question
call and talk to Troy, he can help you. we do have a German shepherd at the shelter
Second Chance will Re-home in some cases. I can attest to the fact that they will find a good home for her dog. I would recommend trying to re-home him or her personally first because I think SCAC resources are stretched relatively thinly. Sorry for your loss best of luck to you with this tough task.
no, the shelter doesn't do that
Kitten Angels is looking for fosters
