This past month I have called Republic Services a total of 5X to have my refuse bins swapped out for a smaller size. Each week they tell me to leave my bins out on the scheduled refuse pick up date and it will be done. No success to date. I am a woman, 80 yrs old, and the bins are hard for me to maneuver to the curb each week for a service that does not occur. The reps answering phones at RS are not helpful. The one I spoke to last week told me the work order for my swap was not even listed, and when I asked to speak to her supervisor she said the person was not available. Is this the type of service Santa Ana has to look forward to with this company? I am very angry and frustrated!

Called for a missed container pickup twice and they yet did not come out. Long wait times on hold trying to talk to someone. Now a damaged trash container and the contents were not removed either! I see mostly one star ratings but no stars would be more appropriate! Too bad we do not have a choice in our trash removal. This company needs to get it's act together.

I called 10 times in 2 weeks ask them to remove 4 extra empty trash can which we did not needed from last owner of the house. I confirmed with them it is 4 of them and first Mon they pick 1 and left 3 to us. I called again and second Mon they did not show up until 2p and I called and the lady is pretty rude said they will pick it up and they did not show up at 4:15p and I called their manager who asked the color of three trash can and said will call me back and nobody call me and they pick another 1 again Now still 2 trash can left in front of my house. We being keep those extra broken trash can for more than 2 years and finally called them. We put food craps and yard wastes in our composter and just use recycled trash can every 3-4 weeks. We try our best to make less trouble to others. Did not get it why they are so bad for their service. Zero star for them

I've had the pleasure of calling for a "missed pickup" at least 10 times in the past 4 months. Lets do the math. I pay for weekly pickup at my house, so 4 months x (about) 4 week per month = 16 pickups. So that's 10 times out of 16 that they have failed to pickup the trash timely at my house and I have to call to ask them to pickup. I've memorized the 800 number, along with the menu options that it takes to report a missed pickup. Hell, they missed my entire street last week, and 3 of our houses called everyday, and no one came. To add insult to injury, when I ask to be called back by a supervisor to escalate the situation, no one ever calls. Our trash day was yesterday, and again they didn't pickup. So obviously I called again today. And this is not even counting the strike. I get it, I'm union too. Strike for better wages and worker conditions. But how do you explain the utterly terrible service I keep getting before and after the strike? I always pay my bill timely, and yet my service is rarely timely? Its funny how I never get billed late or have to call and ask them to send me my bill, that's never a problem. Its either awful management that can't designate the route properly, or lazy garbage people that don't want to pick it up. Give me the problem, I'm certain the customer base can solve the problem if we all put our heads together. This company sucks. I lived in a different city for 30 years and they used Waste Management. Never ONCE did i have to call to ask them to pickup my trash. But it seems with this literal "trash" company I have to beg for them to do the job they are being paid to do. YOU GUYS SUCK
