This library is one of the best libraries I've been to, it's quiet and a great place to do work.

I was in the phone with my mother in the upstairs part of the library because I needed to ask her a quick question. I was not loud in any type of way and a librarian told me I needed to get off the phone because this is a quiet area. I ofc complied but then go on to see several others talking and she never said anything.

I have been going to the BH Library for many years. The staff is extremely helpful and they have most of the latest books I'd want to read. Even during covid, you could pick up books curbside. It's a wonderful library and I'm appreciative to have it as a resource in the area.

Visiting this library is a pleasant experience. Efficient and organized. Check out the art and reference area; we're always distracted there. The children's area is very nice, as well.

Yes, although you didn't ask I have a Beverly Hills library card. Here is what I found at the website: A current Beverly Hills Public Library card is required to access the resources listed. Enter a library card number when prompted. As our digital media services are being offered by a variety of different digital media providers, terms of their check out policies differ.
Try calling the support number listed on the Beverlyhills.org website. Sometimes the hours are just weird.
It is best to make an appointment. This way you know how and when to start.

Yes. No ID required unless you want to check out a book to take with you. Free Wi-Fi. If you have a warrant or you are wanted by the police, not a good place to hang out. The police department is next door and there are lots of cameras.
