Upon arriving at our room, we found an icy dark parking lot. After driving for over 4 hours, we then had to call the main office to figure out how we were supposed to get into our room. It turns out that the office is about 3 miles away and nobody had the courtesy to let us know. Once we finally found the main office in a confusing maze of buildings the receptionist told us to call her if we were not satisfied with our room... we were advertised and sold a deluxe suite which was supposed to contain a king size bed, a fire place, a large flat screen tv, a rainfall shower, and much more. When we walked in our room it was honestly a joke. The only thing updated was the kitchen, past that was just filth. The carpet appeared as if it hadn’t been vacuumed and felt damp. The wallpaper was peeling in spots and had water stains. The bed was not a king, and next to the bed was the “heating unit” stuck in the wall with exposed copper pipes. The bathroom wasn’t even fit to wash my dog in. No rainfall shower, just a a yellowed tub. No fireplace in sight. The tv was older than me and hard to see it was so small. Even the paintings on the wall were horrifying. It was a dark ominous room. When I called the receptionist she told me to deal with Expedia to try and resolve this which in turn left us without a place to stay when we were supposed to be having a great vacation. I would rather have slept in the car than pay premium pricing for motel 6 quality. Eventually Expedia found us a much nicer room elsewhere for 1/3 the price. Thanks.

Great suite, newer bathroom, carpets were a little tired, but very nice overall. Recommended.
